Packing to do some roadie'ing.
One per day. Non-negotiable — no frequency traveller trick gets around this one.
3 work days ÷ 2 wears = 2 tees. Workhorses. Wear them hard, wash when you can.
Rehearsal day — smarter than a rig tee, cooler than the show blacks. One polo covers it. 2 wears if needed.
3 work days, 3 wears per pair = 1 pair. Mild — shorts are the call on site.
One pair of combats. Colder days, smarter moments, load-in with kit. Worth the space every time.
Site layer over the rig tee or polo. Keeps you warm without getting in the way.
One set — black shirt, black trousers, black shoes. Two wears across the trip. No one will know.
5 days — your 2 travel tops cover it at 3 wears each. No extra shirts needed.
These are 2 of your 2 total casual shirts. Outbound top reused once after arrival. Return top stays fresh for the journey home.
2 off-duty days, 3 wears per pair = 1 pair. Chinos are the move — casual enough for travel, smart enough for dinner.
One pair. Clean trainers do evenings, travel, and casual days without a second pair.
5 days ÷ 4 wears = 2 jumpers. Mid-weight merino or wool blend, ~400–500g. Proper warmth for mild evenings, smart enough for dinner.
100ml liquids rule. Pre-packed with refillable bottles, solid deodorant, mini toothpaste. Never repack from scratch — keep it ready to go.
